Hosakanasu was started in 2018. It was registered on August 19th 2021. There are 9 board members and 1100 overall members in the CBO. Among the board members, there are 6 crisis committee members. The CBO focuses on female sex workers and their issues in Yadgiri. Their major work involves managing crises in the community, advocacy, and social entitlements. 

Crisis management includes managing and attending to crises from police, goons, families, and partners among others. The crisis committee tends to the crisis immediately and does regular follow-ups as well. The CBO networks with the gram panchayat for issues related to housing among others. They get loans from the Women and Child Development department for self-employment for the community members. They work on social entitlements by advocating and helping community members get relevant social identity cards like Aadhar cards, PAN cards, Voter IDs etc. They have secured loans from WCD for around 150 community members and around 150 social identity cards like Aadhar, PAN, and Voter IDs have been made.
