Key Activities

Livelihood linkages and income generation support to members

The Samriddhi Sanstha has a saving and credit programme. Each group is free to decide upon the amount of monthly saving and it normally varies from INR 20 per member per month to INR 100 per member per month. In recent times the women linked with Jeevika programme also do savings and hence the internal lending is not much preferred by this federation. But one of the remarkable supports extended by using the saving was disbursement of INR 2500 each to 20 women, who were in abject poverty, abandoned, widow or disabled.

Toilet construction

For ensuring the safety of and privacy of women, 361 toilets were constructed in Nauhata and Rohtas block with the support of PHED.

Mahila Shikshan Kendra

Nuahata block is known for its isolation from the other parts of the district. The communities living in the mountain areas of this block seemed to be cut off and most of the people even fear going to this area because of crimes and anti-social activities. The Samariddhi Sanstha mustered its courage and reached out this district. The Sanstha started Mahila Shikshan Kendra and 480 adolescent girls were educated.

SABLA programme

This programme was facilitated by the Sanstha in two districts namely Rohtas and Kaimur. Under this programme 257 MCS were targeted and in each MCS 25 adolescent girls were provided with Karate Dress therefore benefitting 6425 girls.

The handholding support to 425 people for online registration to get vaccinated. The Sangha-s has established an example of valuing others life by risking own and encouraging the community to be hopeful even in the worst situations.
