Manikanchan Block Mahasangha
About the Member
They are working in 35 villages and each village has one sangha. The federation also has 20 Kishori sanghas with 409 members. Besides that, the Manikanchan Block Mahasangha has now expanded its activities in Dhekiajuli and Borsola blocks, and 30 villages are covered in each block. In total, there are 95 sanghas under the AGC in Sonitpur District.
The federation largely works with women and girls from the Tea Garden community and with scheduled tribes on gender-based violence such as domestic violence, child marriage, and any other gender-based discrimination on rights and entitlements.
