Jasmine was facing domestic violence by her husband for many years. Whenever he became violent physically, she would move to her parent’s place. She joined one of the SHGs in Hosakanasu and started opening up about the violence at home. The members motivated her to speak up more and started having dialogues with her husband as well. After their intervention, the violence has reduced. He knows that his actions will have consequences and that she will raise her voice against him.
