Ashakirana Samajika Seva Samasthe was started in 2014 and registered in 2015. The CBO focuses on Gender and Sexual Minorities and their issues in Yadgiri district. There are seven board members and 916 community members associated with the CBO.

Key Activities
Advocacy
Advocacy work with Government officials on pressing issues like housing, health and employment is carried out in the CBO. They have regular meetings with the District Collector, and Jilla Panchayat CEO to address these issues.
Crisis Management
In crisis management, the CBO manages crises against the GSM community by police, goons, and family. The crisis can also be intra-community.
Social Entitlements
The CBO helps community members get loans from the WCD department for self-employment. They handhold the community members every step of the way from application, and training to utilization of said loans. In January 2023, 45 MGNREGA cards were made for trans people and this was the first of its kind in Karnataka. The CBO helps the communities get relevant social identity cards so that it is easier for them to access resources and government schemes. The details of the same is given below.
